The first one is granted by the University of Helsinki upon completion of all exercises on the Elements of AI platform.
The second one is granted by the University of Luxembourg after passing a final exam about the webinar content and uploading the first certificate on the Moodle platform.
Since it is delivered by a Luxembourgish entity, this second certificate should be more easily recognized in Luxembourg.
The final Luxembourgish exam will be conducted via Moodle. It will be a multiple-choice questions quiz, open in March 2025.
During this time period, you will have 3 attempts to pass the exam. Once an attempt is started, the exam will be open for a maximum of 2 hours.
In order to pass the exam, you will need to correctly answer 75% of the questions within a single attempt. There is no exam at the end of each chapter, only one single final exam at the end of the course.
You will have until end of April 2025 to upload this certificate. In order to meet this deadline, make sure you complete all the exercises in time. Take into account that text-based answers need a bit of time for you to get peer-reviews. If the deadline is approaching but you are encountering technical issues with obtaining this certificate, make sure to let us know so we can deal with it in due time.
Each webinar is recorded, we just need a few days to process the video before it is available. The slides are also made available in Moodle.
No, the online course material, webinars and participation to the final exam are free of charge. Obtention of an official certificate of completion is also completely free of charges, depending only on you completing the course and passing the final exam.
In case you wish to obtain a certificate of completion from the University of Luxembourg, you need to pass the final exam by the end of March 2025.
After this date, you are still welcome to register, complete the course and watch the webinar recordings, however, only the University of Helsinki certificate will be available to you.
